SCADA — Supervisory control and data acquisition
The SCADA module gives operators the process graphics and trends they expect, and gives data teams clean, honest history.
Graphics and trends
- Editable HMI process graphics with live values, alarm states and a symbol for each kind of equipment.
- Trends from live to 7 days; history kept for up to 400 days.
History export
- CSV (long or wide) and Apache Parquet, readable directly by pandas, Spark and DuckDB.
- Average, minimum, maximum and sample count per time bucket. Periods without data stay empty; values are never filled in.
- Up to 200 points and 2 million rows per export; every export is audited.
Event replay
- Pick a time range and points and play back the values, the active alarms (with acknowledgements), SOE events and change requests on a timeline.
Northbound interfaces
- Read-only OPC UA server: the user name is the site ID and the password is that site's read-only token; each session can browse and read only its own site's points. Basic256Sha256 sign-and-encrypt is recommended.
- MQTT Sparkplug B publishing: NBIRTH, DBIRTH, DDATA on change and NDEATH, with bdSeq and sequence numbers per the specification. Rebirth requests are honored; all other commands are ignored. The broker must use mqtts://.
Industries
- Semiconductor & IC manufacturing
- Electronics & flat-panel display
- Copper tube & metal processing
- Glass manufacturing
